Woodberry Blooms, is a flower shop and social enterprise. It is owned and operated by London Development Trust.
All profits generated by the shop are reinvested back into the community. This money helps to fund community activities, employment and training support and community events at the local Redmond Community Centre.
The shop generates income selling a beautiful collection of house plants, as well as locally sourced, seasonal and organic flowers. Our specialist florists are able to offer advice on plant selection and care, and our repotting service is particularly popular with local residents.
We also have contracts with local businesses to design, supply and maintain flowers and plants in offices, social areas and cafes. And create bouquets and floral arrangements with a personal touch for weddings and other special occasions. The shop also acts as a social space offering workshops in wreath making, flower arranging and candle making.
We have a strong environmental ethos and aim to make the shop as sustainable as possible. We work with the lovely Growing Communities who provide organic, seasonal flowers grown locally in Dagenham, East London. You can rest assured that all the money you spend on flowers supports small, independent local charities; the money helping both the local environment and the local community.
